The Northern Lights EP is a mix of Nigel’s influences – ranging from old 70′s funk and disco, to Basic Channel and deep hypnotic vibes, all under a house groove.

D-Tek and Elektricity are deep, phat house rockers, and Raise The Bridge and Wallfield capture the authenticity and funk of times gone by, with infectious parts to get your ass movin! Enjoy :-) …and turn it UP!!! :-)

jay west – very diggin wallfield

joe t vannelli – house nation!!

Nikola Baytala – DTEK

orde meikle, slam! – supa funky shit – thanx mate

ed aldridge – Nigel Hayes does funky upbeat house so easily it is almost criminal, I really love the vibe on Wallfield and will definitely support it.

Ed Brazilian Soul Crew – Very nice release. Good track on this EP. I will play.

elmar schubert – Nigel is one of the very few producers who can pull off an EP like this – everything from disco to techno is basically covered, and yet it doesn’t sound random.

Charles Loveslap – as usual nigel’s tunes are likable within a few seconds of listing..   he’s one of the few real producers in dance music today

dj gee, bora bora, ibiza / brazil – Ah soooo sweet, fantastic EP !!!! You are having a laugh asking to pick a best mix from that monster EP, for so many different reasons they are all great.  I clicked the D-tek but raise t bridge gives me that “Rotation” buz feeling again. Elektricity is as it says on the box and Wallfield is funkilicious to the max!!!  many many thanks, top label top tunes :G)

frank jensen soul parlor – cool stuff…will play it out loud

tyler stadius – Great, diverse tracks. Nigel’s tracks always stand out. Thank you.

wez saunders – D-Tek is the sort of thing I was warming up with in the late 90′s – love that vibe. Then Elektricity is something I’d play shortly after – big love for both these tracks. Great stuff.

al bradley – A top quality collection of vibes here again from Nigel, always consistently bang-on. It’s the looser vibes of “Raise The Bridge” & “Wallfield” which are doing it for me, definitely will get a load of use from these, timeless slices of 100% quality dance music.

aubrey saei – Elektricity is the one for me, all round class ep

For Mark Farina – Lovin’ the deep grooves on this package.

tony d onghia – nice to see nigel hayes around again. d-tek is my fav here but for radio airplay i ll chose raise the bridge and wallfield. top productions as always
