deep tech house deep house tech house nigel hayes tales from the shed part 3 ep intelligent audioJust over one year since Nigel Hayes penned the first two volumes of ‘Tales From The Shed’, he now releases parts 3 and 4 on London’s Intelligent Audio.  Nigel Hayes original material is extremely rare these days – yet he remains one of the most respected players in house and techno. In IA he has found the perfect partner label to reflect his ethos.

Since all of our artists are brilliant prolific producers, each release – so far, at least -  is split into two releases, one focused on House/Techno and the other allowing the artist to explore their full creativity with a more eclectic selection.  IA1.6 sees Nigel providing 4 tracks in the Deep/Tech House and Techno genres while IA2.6 is a blend of Afro-Beat, Nu Jazz, Lounge and Broken Beat, with all tracks underpinned by live instrumentation.

This is the deep tech house – IA1 – side of things – so please scroll down to see a small amount of the great feedback we got for this release… scroll further down to hear it – so click any of the links to go to the main release page for Tales from the Shed Part 3 EP – a brilliant deep tech house EP.

Since the early projects as Chaser (his partnership with Lars Sandberg aka Funk D’Void/Francois DuBois) for Soma Recordings, Nigel has always tried to blend live instrumentation with electronica and with this release he indulges his passion for both.  In 2010 Nigel and Lars Sandberg (aka Funk D’Void/Francois DuBois) started studio production work together again as Chaser (they were previously signed to Soma from 1995-2005), and released the massive ‘Bite the Bullet / Odysseys Return’ EP on Urban Torque, which received a fantastic response across the board from DJs such as Darren Emerson, Dubfire and Ian Pooley.

If you want to license any Intelligent Audio tracks for ANY reason – and also if you would like to pre order this on vinyl, please contact us.
